These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Geek Dictionary app (“the app”), published by Geek Dictionary, LLC and Frame Sixty Labs, LLC (“we,” “our”). By using Geek Dictionary, you agree to these Terms.

Description of Service

Geek Dictionary is a mobile application that provides definitions, reference entries, and related content. Some content and features are available for free, while others require an active subscription.

Subscription Access

Geek Dictionary offers optional subscriptions that unlock additional features. The subscription options, pricing, and billing period are shown in the app before you subscribe. You may use the free portions of the app without purchasing a subscription.

Purchases & Subscriptions

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically for the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Where a subscription is purchased through our website or a Frame Sixty Labs device, billing is handled by a third-party payment processor under its own terms.
Except where required by law, or by the applicable app store or payment processor, payments are non-refundable.

App License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Geek Dictionary on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the app or its content except as permitted by law.

Content

All definitions, text, artwork, and other content in Geek Dictionary are owned by or licensed to Geek Dictionary, LLC and Frame Sixty Labs, LLC. You may not extract, republish, or repurpose the content for use outside of the app, or in any commercial product or service.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to its systems, or use it in any way that could damage or impair the service or other users’ use of it.

Privacy

Your use of Geek Dictionary is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled in connection with the app.

Third-Party Platforms

The app is distributed and, where applicable, billed through third-party platforms, including the Apple App Store, Google Play, our website host, and our payment processor. Your interactions with those platforms are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

No Warranty

Geek Dictionary is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices, or that its content is complete or accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geek Dictionary, LLC and Frame Sixty Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or inability to use the app.

Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the app if these Terms are violated. If your subscription ends without renewal, you will no longer be able to access subscription-only features, though the free portions of the app remain available.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which Frame Sixty Labs, LLC is incorporated.
